A Workout Wednesday


So I've started this 11 Week Bikini Boot Camp Challenge and it has literally kicked my butt! I am so out of shape I can hardly believe it. Gone are the days when I was a heavily involved athlete and firm. Now it's Mommy muffin tops, twin skin, banana boobs and jiggle (sorry to be so graphic lol).  Oh, and gone are the bikini days as well. I've traded them in for a nice vintage one piece (which I love btw).

I am going to try my darnedest to stick to this workout schedule that I have linked above, so we'll see what happens. I'm also going back to cutting out all breads, pastas, white flours and most sugars after Easter. I did that during January and lost 7 pounds and I've only gained 1 pound of it back so that at least is encouraging. Now, do I need to lose many more pounds, no, but I do want to tone up and that is my ultimate goal here.

I thought you'd enjoy a real photo of someone working out instead of all the pretty Pinterest pics that are supposed to motivate you. This should at least give you a chuckle at my expense, so I hope you enjoy it...

The Daily Dish: Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia

I LOVE Tilapia and there are so many ways to season it. This is a great recipe, or in a pinch, I just cook it in a pan with some olive oil and Tony's Creole Seasoning.  YUMMY!
