Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten & Spackle Under Makeup Primer Review

Laura Geller is a renown makeup artist, and her makeup has graced the faces of countless celebrities as well as thousands of women around the world!
Two of her best-selling products are her Spackle Under Makeup Primer and her Baked collection.
I was lucky enough to try the Spackle Under Makeup Primer as well as her Blush-n-Brighten Baked blush! I instantly fell in love with both of them!
  • Retexturizes the skin and creates a silky smooth surface for makeup application.
  • Locks in moisture so skin feels softer and looks smoother.
  • Foundation and blush apply easier and smoother, wear longer and look fresher.
  • Use during the day over foundation to refresh makeup.
  • Complex of botanical extracts provide protection and soothing anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • Oil-free and ideal for all skin types.
I love how the Spackle feels on my face before applying my makeup. It fills in those fine lines so my foundation doesn't settle in the creases of my face. I also noticed a diminished appearance in my pores, which I really love!
The Baked Blush-n-Brighten in "Pink Grapefruit":
  • Dimethicone creates a barrier to lock in moisture and prevent water loss.
  • Titanium Dioxide is a physical sunscreen ingredient that provides broad spectrum protection.
  • Shade and formula work for everyone.
  • Plush tones of pink, berry, cream and gold are blended for the perfect shade of color.
  • Gives skin a smooth, even, natural glow.
  • Blends beautifully with either Balance-n-Brighten or Bronze-n-Brighten.
This extraordinary formula is developed in Italy, where the multi-color infused liquid is baked for 24 hours in a terracotta pan. No two are ever identically made. The result is a rich creamy powder that will instantly illuminate your face.
I LOVE this blush! It's so super-pigmented that you just need the tiniest bit on your brush to achieve a beautiful, youthful glow. I have a feeling I won't run out of this blush for a very long time!
I am so stink'n excited to be offering the Laura Geller's Spackle Under Makeup Primer and Blush-n-Brighten for a GIVEAWAY! Whoever wins these two ah-mazing products is going to be one happy girl!

Snowflake Ballerina Tutorial & Printable

I found this cute and fun tutorial on Pinterest and just knew my daughter would love making these snowflake ballerinas.

The only thing we did differently is that we used coffee filters instead of plain paper for the skirts. I found it was easier making the skirts that way.
I traced the ballerinas and Grace cut them out, and she also cut out all of the coffee filter snowflakes.

This is a great scissor exercise for your children.

Here is the link to the tutorial and also the free printable so you and your child can make them as well.

FragranceNet.com Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum Review & Giveaway!

I've wanted to try Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb for some time now. I've heard great things about this perfume since its debut in 2005, but honestly never made it to the perfume counter to try it on my skin.

Recently I was given the opportunity by FragranceNet.com to try out Flowerbomb for myself, and I must admit I think I squeaked a little when it arrived in the mail!
However, I was a little worried I wouldn't like it because I tend to hate anything with a floral scent. With its name being Flowerbomb, I was thinking "explosion of flowers"! Usually floral scents are too strong for me and end up giving me a headache. As much as I really wanted to love Flowerbomb, I was afraid I just wouldn't be able to stand wearing it.

Thankfully, I was wrong! While Flowerbomb is described as being floral with its freesia, jasmine, and rose orchid, it's also described as having hints of tea. This is what I think I picked up on the most. I've worn Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden for years and years and I love its light, fresh scent. This might be why I'm attracted to the scent of tea coming from Flowerbomb.

I also noticed sweet notes in the perfume; almost like candy. I've read this in other customer reviews as well. Some describe it as cotton candy, some say vanilla. I think I would have to agree with both. It really is a unique scent!

Viktor&Rolf's description includes Patchouli, which is an herb belonging to the mint family. Patchouli is a musty, sweet, spicy, heavy scent. It is relaxing, uplifting, soothing, and is believed to be an aphrodisiac. I'm thinking this just might be why I LOVE this scent! ;)

FragranceNet.com is the only place I trust to buy my fragrances online. They always have great prices and they also carry skincare, haircare, aromatherapy and candles!

About 2 months ago I was able to review a couple of skincare products from the DDF (Doctor's Dermatologic Formula) line and I am so happy with the results.
Not only does my skin feel so much smoother than it used to, but it also looks brighter and well hydrated. I've also noticed a huge change in the look and size of my pores.

Below is my review video of the products I use from the DDF line.

The Flex Belt Review and Promo

When I was offered to review The Flex Belt I literally squealed! After the birth of my twin boys, I had to have umbilical hernia repair and since then, I haven't been able to tone and strengthen my abdominal muscles with traditional ab exercises. I also have quite a bit of Diastasis recti, which means there is a substantial separation in my abdominal wall. (Thank you pregnancy!) If I lay down, I can stick 2-3 fingers through my abdominal wall (Ewe I know!).

Usually the only fix is surgery, but since the surgery isn't "medically necessary," my insurance didn't cover it. My insurance did, however, cover my hernia repair. I am cleared to do ab strengthening exercises again, however when I lay down to do crunches, I can feel pain where my hernia was repaired. This is why The Flex Belt has me so excited!

With The Flex Belt, I am able to strengthen and tone my abdominal muscles, while sitting, or folding the laundry, applying my makeup, or while blogging...as I am doing now :)

The Flex Belt, which is FDA cleared for toning, strengthening and firming abdominal muscles, works by stimulating the nerves that make your muscles contract and relax.

Your Flex Belt comes with the belt, a wall charger to charge the unit, 3 medical grade gel pads, a belt extension for those with a waist over 44 inches, instruction manual and carrying case. I must say the unit itself and the packaging is really well made. The gel pads also last a very long time. I still have mine after almost 2 months and they still work fine.

You attach the gel pads to the belt, put the belt around your waist, turn the unit on, and slowly start increasing the intensity of the stimulation. You can also control the intensity for the right and left sides of your abdominal muscles. I really liked this feature since I was able to have a higher intensity for my right side over my left. You can increase the intensity from 1-150. There are also 10 different program settings you can choose from for each workout. I found as time went on, I was able to increase intensity and also choose harder and longer programs. This is a great feature to combat plateauing.

I used The Flex Belt almost every day for 30 days and here are my results. Please forgive my terrible lighting as I am certainly not a professional photographer! :) I didn't diet or do any other exercising. I just went about my normal routine and used The Flex Belt and this is what happened:
So as you can see, The Flex Belt definitely toned my abs. I also noticed that they were a lot stronger. An added bonus was a decrease in the separation in my abdominal wall. I was super excited about that! The company states that you will see results in a matter of 4-8 weeks. If after 60 days of use, you are not satisfied, you can take advantage of their 60-day money back guarantee. I honestly can't imagine that after 60 days of use that you wouldn't notice any change.

So if you're a Mommy like me who is tired of looking like she's still preggers, then I would definitely try The Flex Belt for sure! You're gonna LOVE it!

NatureBox Subscription Review and Giveaway!

Did you know that the average American eats 25% of their calories from snacking? Think of the snacks you choose for yourself and your family. NatureBox snacks are nutritionist-approved snacks that are delivered to your door every month for $19.95. You can pause or cancel your delivery at any time and they offer 100% satisfaction guaranteed!
