DIY Easter Floral Centerpiece With Candy

Want to create a colorful Easter centerpiece for around $25?

Here's what you'll need:
  1.  Candy from Rite Aid (I used Peanut M&M's in Easter colors, but you can use jellybeans or any candy you chose. The candy was 2 for $5, and I bought 4 bags)
  2.  A glass vase ($4 Dollar General)
  3.  Flowers ($9 from a local flower shop)
  4.  A clear plastic cup ($1 for a dozen at Dollar General)
  5.  Optional: I used some decorative ribbon that I already had.
Step 1:
Separate your candy by color, and place one cup inside of glass vase.
Step 2:
Add the candy to the vase by layering the colors. Hold the cup in the center of the vase as your pour so the candy is evenly dispersed around the outside of the cup.
 (Trim flowers to desired height)

Step 3:
Add water to the cup, and carefully add flowers.
I also tied a decorative bow around the vase.

That's it! Easy-peasy!

Thanks to the good people at Rite Aid, I am able to give away a $25 Rite Aid Gift Card to one lucky reader so he/she can make their own centerpiece. Yay!

Jackpot Candles Review And Giveaway!

I recently was able to review a Jackpot Candle
Jackpot Candles are 100% soy candles with surprise jewelry inside. You can choose a necklace, earrings or a ring (and even choose your ring size) when ordering.
I picked the Banana Nut Bread Candle. I also chose a ring in a size 6.
I love the smell of something yummy baking in the oven, so this is perfect for my kitchen.
The smell fills the room, but isn't too strong.
Here is the description for the Banana Nut Bread candle:

  • 100% Premium Natural Soy
  • Burns for 80 to 100 Hours
  • 100% Made in the USA

Jelly Belly Bean Boozled Challenge

My daughter has been begging me to do the Jelly Belly Bean Boozled Challenge for months and months.
I finally picked up a 2 pack on Amazon.

The basics of Bean Boozled is that there are 10 regular flavored Jelly Belly beans and 10 gross Jelly Belly Beans...and you can't tell which is which.
You spin the spinner and you all grab the jelly bean that the arrow lands on.
Will it be Peach or Barf? Stinky Socks or Tutti Fruitti?
See what happens when we play Jelly Belly Bean Boozled!
